Checkin' In & Projects

Hi Everyone
~Happy Wednesday To You~

Well, today is the day that my Stampin' Up! kit should be here. I have been stalking UPS.com like a mad woman. LOL

I also wanted to let you know that I have created a
Stampin' Up! only blog.
There is not much on there yet (I was waiting for my kit)
This is where I will share projects, tips, ideas, tutorials and etc. I wanted a place to share all of that so it does not interfere with this blog. (Here I can use other products that are not Stampin' Up!)

Here is the link for my other blog

OK, now on to some projects I have done recently. These were both made with the Cricut Explore machine and the Design Space Program.

First, I used just markers to create an April title card
for my Project Life.
I think this came out really cute, and will be doing it again.

You can find the video for this card here

Second, can I just say I love vinyl? I am seriously addicted. I made this using a 6 x 6 ceramic tile, and a Make It Now design, added a flower and called it done.
These would make great gifts for Mother's Day,
Holidays, Marriage, House Warming,
(I can go on and on)

And, here is the video link for the tile.

Hope you all have a great day, Hugs

It's Official

Hi Everyone
~Happy Thursday To You~

Well, as many of you know I recently signed on to be a consultant with CTMH. Well, after looking at the catalog and their product, I decided it wasn't for me. So I resigned from that and went and joined Stampin' Up! Crazy I know. (My husband wanted to kill me) but he was supportive and helped me decide what we think would be best for me and make me happy (he is so great)

It was a really tough decision, as I love CTMH stamps, but I didn't like that they only carry 12 x 12 card stock, since I mainly use 8.5 x 11. It is also white core, which is nice sometimes, but not all of the time, and that was all they carried. The embellishments were another issue. I am not one who uses ribbons, buttons or brads a lot, but I like knowing they are available to me if needed.
With Stampin" Up they are.

My kit just shipped today, so I will share when I get it
(most likely next week sometime)
Anyway, that is what I have been up to,
I hope all of you are doing great
Hugs,

Duck Tape Cell Phone

Hi Everyone
~Happy Monday To You~

Hope all of you had a fantastic Easter holiday. We ate ham, more ham and then more ham! I am hammed out.

Today's project is very simple. I used the Explore machine to cut Duck Tape (came with the machine) to make a design for the back of my new cell phone. Yep, I said new. We decided to go with the Samsung Galaxy S5, even though it wasn't my first choice, because we got a really good deal on it. So, to jazz it up a bit, I did a search on Google for a little android logo, imported it into design space and slapped it on the back of my phone. I do find that duck tape doesn't cut as well as vinyl does. You can see around the left eye, it looks a little wonky, but I like wonky and think overall it looks good.

Also sharing a picture of my favorite little man. He is growing up so fast and getting so big!

Hope you all have a great day, Hugs
